The morning of November 7 was crisp and clear as representatives from Labor Finders went on site at the Holmes house to hold a groundbreaking ceremony for Andrew's new room. Gary Sweat from the Lake City Labor Finders office and Dan Shube, Marketing Director for Labor Finders spoke with representatives from the Lake City Reporter, MIX94.3 and WCJB, Channel 20 from Gainesville. Although Andrew was not feeling well enough for school on Wednesday, he managed a smile for the cameras and even shoveled some dirt into a wheelbarrow to commemorate the start of his room project.

Andrew showed off the old garage area that will soon be converted to his own clean space, helping to ensure a safe environment during his treatment and recovery period. Labor Finders expects to present Andrew with his new room in time for Christmas. Andrew is hoping for a SpongeBob theme including his own cozy bean bag chair.
